About Burstly

Our Goal

Burstly launched in December 2009 with the goal of empowering developers to have complete control over their app business. And thats even more true today given some of the large shifts that have already taken place in the app ecosystem. While its still early in the mobile app market and we aren't satisfied yet, we're working with some really great partners and we've taken some great steps to empower developers. Today, Burstly helps app developers cross-promote their new apps and drive in app purchases, work with a ton of 3rd party monetization partners, as well as enable them to create direct sales relationships. The toolset works across multiple products including custom badges and buttons, display ads, and in-game rewards.

We believe in this so strongly that we've aligned our business model 100% with the developers - we only make money when the app does. We're just getting started and we're excited to continue building out tools that empower app developers to take advantage of whatever new opportunities come there way.

The Team

Burstly is a dynamic startup bringing together experience from mobile, online advertising and the media industry. In fact, our core team worked together in 2000-2001 at Traffic Marketplace (TMP). Evan Rifkin was the Founder/CEO. Ben Widhelm was the CTO. Ryan Rifkin managed trafficking and operations responsibilities. TMP was sold to Uproar (public company) and then shortly after Uproar was acquired by Vivendi/Universal.
